Brief Timeline
In 2013, Omar Gabr and Moataz Soliman, two college friends with a simple idea, started what would become something extraordinary. A decade later, it evolved into Instabug. And now, we’re entering a new chapter, Instabug is now Luciq, the mobile observability tool you need to deliver more reliable mobile experiences. Here is our story:
- 2012: We applied for Flat6Labs, an Egyptian incubator.
- 2012: We won the 1st place in MIT with a prize of 50,000 $.
- 2013: Attended MobileBeat event in SF.
- 2013: Got our 1st round of Investment $300,000.
- 2015: Became monetized and received our 1st payment.
- 2016: We were accepted by YC.
- 2016: Got our 2nd round of Investment $1.7M.
- 2020: Got our 3rd round of Investment $5M.
- 2022: Got out 4th round of investment $46M & the team was featured on Nasdaq.
- 2025: The Launch of a New Era: Instabug is now Luciq!
